Countdown to Samhain: Another Year, Another Mind-Bendingly Delicious Collection of Meaningful Moments

Another year, another Samhain, and let me tell you - I feel like a brand new woman! I truly hope that every single one of you who celebrates in some way can feel that same refreshing sense of something fresh, glistening, untouched and for the taking.

One of the most wonderful things about Samhain for me is the sense of shedding a spiritual skin. I find that it's time to get crystal clear on my magickal intentions and pledge to be the most empowered and diligent witch that it's possible to be.. I find myself taking a look at the landscape of my spiritual beliefs and practices. I look at the aspects of my spirituality which fill me with joy as well as highlighting the problem areas, the things I'm not consistent with and the things I want to give more time to. I'm honest with myself about what it takes to be a spiritual being who sees life through the spiritual lens and responds to things in accordance with spiritual principles. I witness the ways in which I am cutting myself short spiritually and I decide to get back on track.

A long time ago, I gave myself permission to put my spiritual journey at the centre of my life. I knew that it was not something I was willing to shove into the background or hide under the sofa. I wasn't willing to demote it to the last thing on the list all the time, and I certainly didn't want to keep telling myself that prioritising my spiritual journey was 'silly' or 'pointless' or 'weird'. I decided that in order for my spiritual life to be as compelling and dynamic as I wanted it to be, I had to do it with both feet in. I had to be fully committed, 'in it to win it'..

So that's the road I took, and I couldn't be happier with how it's turning out for me.

Blesséd Samhain, lovebugs!

All good things to you.. All good things.
